The Observer pattern, also known as the Notification pattern, defines a one-to-many dependency between objects so that when one object changes state, all of its dependents are notified and updated automatically. This approach relies on loose coupling, allowing objects to interact with minimal knowledge of each other, which provides significant system flexibility.

Core Components of the Observer Pattern Based on the standard class diagram, the pattern consists of four main parts:
registerObserver(), removeObserver(), and notifyObservers(). Objects use this interface to subscribe or unsubscribe from updates.update() method, which is called whenever the Subject's state changes.getState() and setState(). It implements the notifyObservers() method to update all currently registered observers when its state changes.
Practical Application: Weather Monitoring System In the Weather-O-Rama application, the system tracks physical weather data and updates user interfaces.

To complete the system, the WeatherData object must be integrated to automatically push updates to the display devices whenever new weather data is pulled. By implementing the Observer pattern, the WeatherData object (Subject) can seamlessly notify the Current Conditions, Statistics, and Forecast displays (Observers) without needing to know the specific implementation details of each display.
